What is your current relationship to anger? Think about it for a moment…
You probably understand anger to be something “bad” and this is where I would like to support you in shifting your context of anger for good!
As you have grown up, you have learned that parents and society at large expect you to behave and control this incredibly powerful energy. You get conditioned to suppress and limit your expression of anger to the world and perceive anger as bad.
To truly understand this, let’s look back to when you were born.
As a baby, you had two core energy states available to you: Joy and Anger. When you had a need, such as comfort or food, you would release anger energy to alert those around you of your need by crying or screaming. You had no other way to communicate and express what was happening for you! This anger energy is a result of the R-System in your brain firing whenever you perceived something as a threat, and the R-system control all of the basics such as hunger, temperature control, and your fight-flight-freeze responses.
As an adult, it is no different. Your brain's R-System is still always available to fire at any moment that you perceive something as “not working” around you. This can even happen in an everyday occurrence such as another car cutting you off on the road or a colleague not delivering on a work project as you may have expected.
There is no way not to experience anger energy as a human being. Allow this this to bring you positive relief from trying to avoid anger in your life.
It is also important to know that energy cannot be destroyed.
Energy can only be transformed.
The act of suppressing anger energy will result in you becoming sad or lacking the correct energy required to truly create the results that you want to achieve. For some people, this on-going suppression of anger anergy can even result in depression…
From today, I really encourage you to change the way you look at anger and to let go of making anger wrong.
Anger itself is not bad, it is how you use it and what you use it for that can make it so. I prefer to consider anger as a vital Life Force energy that can be used for creative purposes of all kinds!
All transformation and creation require massive amounts of energy.
This incredible energy is most useful when it is directed towards achieving specific results in your life, and during our coaching sessions together we regularly look at your core energy states and how this life force energy can be transformed into passion in order to bring brilliant outcomes into existence for you.
It is this anger energy that will truly allow you to shape your self-created vision of success!
